Meet Darryl Karp
Darryl Karp is the company director of Turd Burglar and has been in the liquid waste industry for almost 20 years. He was born and raised in Bacchus Marsh Victoria, Australia, which is also where Turd Burglar started its humble beginnings. Outside of work, Darryl has a keen interest in horses and spends his free time training a couple of racehorses.
Since Daryl has been on board, the business has grown and expanded to all areas of Melbourne, including the main factory in Campbellfield. Darryl values great customer service and makes it a point that quality customer service is the number one focus of the business.
When Darryl eventually took over the family business, which started with just one truck, he could already see the growth the business would be able to achieve. Thanks to Darryl’s commitment, strong work ethic and motivation, the company now has 5 trucks, thousands of customers and has expanded its services from just septic tank cleaning to now also include grease trap cleaning and industrial liquid waste removal too.
There’s no doubt that without Darryl’s hands-on approach with the business, Turd Burglar would be where it is today. Darryl leads by example and is not afraid to get his hands dirty – he still gets in the trucks when required and our regular customers love to see him. His strong work ethic rubs off on everyone around him and he is always striving to improve the business.
